However, Commandos 2 works flawlessly and is still as playable as back in the day, so it's a better choice. You would have to buy Commandos 2 + 3 as they are bundled and it's kind of a shame, since 3 does not work very well and has issues on modern hardware (though probably not as good a the other games anyway). While probably they will fix the bugs eventually and the censorship isn't really a big deal, there is a better option - GOG has the the whole series (not on sale unfortunately at this time). They also cut the multiplayer, which is another letdown. Don't know why, apparently showing historic footage (the game intro) is not acceptable nowadays, cause it has Hitler in it and then there is the flag (Japanese one got cut too apparently). So the HD remaster came out today, and if anyone here skipped out on the series and thought this is a good way of seeing what it was all about, I'm going to say DO NOT BUY!
